Sell your medical products in Egypt. We handle everything.
Zero upfront fees. We handle everything — registration, import, customs, duties, warehousing and selling.
You're paid when we sell. For manufacturers of medical devices, sterile and non-sterile consumables, and laboratory and IVD products who want to sell in Egypt.
UltraTeb Market Access is how a foreign manufacturer of medical devices, consumables or lab/IVD products starts selling in Egypt without paying anything upfront: we do the market study for free, register the product with the Egyptian Drug Authority (EDA), import it, pay the duty and VAT, store it, market it and sell it — and you are paid when it sells. Egypt has more than 1,800 hospitals, and in 2025 it imported medical and surgical instruments (HS 9018) worth USD 73.1 million from China, USD 50.2 million from Germany and USD 46.0 million from the USA.
How easy is it? Three steps.
-
1. Tell us about your product
Company, product, country and category. It takes about 2 minutes.
-
2. We do the market study and the plan — free
Demand, prices, competition, the registration route and a small pilot order we recommend. You pay nothing for it.
-
3. Ship your goods — we handle everything else
Registration, import approval, customs, duties and VAT, storage, marketing, sales, invoicing and collection. You see your stock and sales at all times.
Who does what?
You do
- Supply the product.
- Provide its certificates and technical documents (for example CE or FDA, ISO 13485, a Free Sale Certificate).
- Upload your shipping documents to CargoX, the platform Egyptian customs requires from every foreign exporter — we walk you through it.
We do
- Free market study: demand, competition, buyer segments and the right entry product.
- Free pricing: landed cost and the price bands that sell in Egypt.
- Registration with the Egyptian Drug Authority (EDA), end to end.
- Advance Cargo Information (ACI): the ACID number in Egypt's NAFEZA system and CargoX coordination.
- EDA import approval for every shipment.
- Customs clearance and the EDA release inspection.
- Customs duty and import VAT — we pay them.
- Warehousing, lot and expiry tracking, and cold chain where your product needs it.
- Marketing in Egypt: product pages in Arabic and English, campaigns and launch content — after the EDA advertising approval.
- Sales to private hospitals, laboratories, clinics and UPA public tenders.
- Invoicing through Egypt's e-invoicing system and collection from buyers.
- Monthly statements and full visibility of your stock and sales.
- Africa and Middle East next steps, market by market, with in-country partners.
UltraTeb Market Access is a zero-upfront-fee route into Egypt's medical market: UltraTeb registers, imports, markets, stores and sells your product, shares the risk, and pays you when it sells.

Can you reach Africa and the Middle East from Egypt?
Yes, step by step — and we are honest about how. Egypt is the base. We cover Egypt directly. Next markets are handled one country at a time, through in-country partners we identify and check for your product. We have no offices outside Egypt.
- Each country needs its own registration. An EDA registration is valid in Egypt only, and every African market has its own regulator (WHO Africa regional factsheet).
- No tariff shortcut. Egypt's duty-free trade with COMESA members covers goods that originate in Egypt (COMESA rules of origin manual). A device made in China or Germany and shipped on from Egypt pays the destination's normal duty; the same logic applies under the AfCFTA (AfCFTA rules of origin manual).
- Real links exist. Egypt's trade with African Union countries reached USD 9.9 billion in 2024, and Egypt's medical and pharmaceutical exports to Africa were USD 324 million in 2025.

Frequently asked questions
What does 'zero upfront fees' mean?
You pay us nothing before your products sell. The market study, pricing, registration, import, customs duty and VAT, warehousing, marketing and the sales launch are funded by UltraTeb. We earn only when your products sell. All commercial terms are agreed in writing in the distribution agreement before your first shipment.
What do I have to do?
Supply the product, provide its certificates and technical documents, and upload your shipping documents to CargoX (the platform Egyptian customs requires from foreign exporters). We guide you through each of these. Everything else in Egypt is our work.
When am I paid?
When we sell. You receive a monthly itemised statement of what sold and are paid for those units on the schedule in your agreement. For public-tender sales, 'sold' means the paying hospital has paid us, because government payment cycles are long.
Do you accept every product?
No. We assess each product for demand, certificates, shelf life, labelling and price first. We do not take pharmaceuticals. Products that fit usually start with a small pilot order.
How long until my product is on sale in Egypt?
It depends on the product. Non-sterile Class I items and many lab/IVD products can move fastest; EDA allows a new IVD to be sold for 6 months while its file is pending. Sterile devices cannot be released until registered, and 6–12 months is a realistic planning range for a new registration.
Can you guarantee sales or tender awards?
No. Nobody can honestly guarantee sales or a tender award. We show you the demand and the competition in the free market study, and we only recommend a pilot when we believe the product can sell.
Can I see my stock and sales?
Yes. You get full visibility: stock on hand by lot and expiry date, sales by channel, enquiries, quotes, tenders, monthly statements and payments.
Which countries do you accept manufacturers from?
Any country. Manufacturers from EDA reference countries (for example EU members, the USA, Japan, the UK) usually move faster. Certificates from other countries (for example China, India, Turkey, Korea) must be legalised, and some products are sample-tested (EDA import guideline).
