Oxoid™ Mueller Hinton Agar (Dehydrated) is the internationally recognised standard medium for Antimicrobial Susceptibility Testing (AST) using the Kirby-Bauer disc diffusion method. Manufactured to conform to both EUCAST and CLSI guidelines, it contains starch to absorb toxic by-products and support reliable bacterial growth. Each 500 g bottle of dehydrated powder prepares approximately 13 litres of ready-to-pour medium.
