CLED Medium – 500 g – Oxoid

CLED (Cystine-Lactose-Electrolyte-Deficient) Medium is a non-selective, differential dehydrated bacteriological culture medium for the isolation, enumeration, and differentiation of urinary pathogens from urine specimens. It supports growth of all major uropathogens while providing clear, distinct colony morphology for diagnostic bacteriology. Prepared by suspending 36.2 g per litre of distilled water and sterilising by autoclaving at 121 °C for 15 minutes. Supplied by Thermo Scientific Oxoid (product code CM0301B) in a 500 g bottle.
