What is the difference between Miratrade's plastic and cardboard safety boxes?
The plastic version is made from rigid puncture-resistant plastic and withstands moisture and heavy use; the cardboard version uses reinforced anti-perforation board laminated inside and out with polyester layers.
Can the safety box be reused after it is full?
No — the safety box is single-use. Once the lid is permanently locked it cannot be reopened, and the sealed container should be handed over to a licensed medical-waste disposal service.
